Dear Commissioners and Council Members:
As a part of the overall development plan, we plan on continuing to farm the undeveloped portions of
the site. By use of farming we hope to control pests and dust, and weeds outside the subdivision
fencing. The farming operation will be row crops like corn and wheat and other grains. The irrigation
water comes from a concrete irrigation ditch along Meridian Road.
To retained the concrete irrigation ditch for those portions not be developed. We propose to extend the
asphalt in Meridian Road to provide a temporary five foot wide asphalt walkway along the shoulder of
Meridian Road (See Exhibit A and Exhibit B attached) The first phase of development is proposed in
the southeast comer of the site. We will improve approximately 440 feet of Meridian Road just past
our entrance. The remaining 890 feet will have a temporary five foot walkway with an extruded 6"
curb.
