Dear Debbie:
Your email has been received by the Mayor’s Office. We appreciate you contacting us to let us know of your concerns
for the proposed development of Brinegar Prairie Subdivision. I will forward your comments to our City Clerk for the
record and to be included in the packet the Mayor and Council members receive for the continued public hearing. Once
an application is made, Mayor and Council are only able to make comments during the public hearing.
I have copied Josh Beach, the staff member assigned to this project. He will be able to answer any additional questions
you may have plat approval and annexation or the process.
Thank you for your comments and being part of the public process.

Message Dear Mayor and Council Members, I was at the last meeting and appreciate that you did not allow
the builder to be approved on his current plan for Brinegar Prairie. In brief I am writing to ask you
support an R-4 zoning in the land on 10 Mile & Chateau which somehow was okayed for R-8
zoning. This does not match any of the neighboring subdivisions and there is no reason for R-8
except greed. My family has lived in Meridian in the same house for over 20 years - right next to
this property. I would like to see homes go in that would keep or improve the integrity of the city we
live in and love. This is too many homes on this land. Not to mention added traffic to an already
crowded area. I realize this would mean the builder would have to start all over, but better now than
after it is too late. Thank you for your time and consideration.
