I am writing this in regards to the new plat that was submitted for this subdivision. I am a home owner in the
Sunburst subdivision and I am opposed to the new plan which features lots much smaller than originally
proposed. This means that the homes built on these lots will be considerably smaller than the homes in the
surrounding subdivisions. This will adversely impact the values of existing homes which are still struggling
to regain the values they were purchased for before the mortgage crisis. The developer should be held to the
original plat that was approved by planning and zoning. Please consider what is in the best interests of the
existing homeowners rather than a developer who will simply move on with their money after they have
destroyed the value of the surrounding neighborhoods.
