The Owner shall be responsible for all watering except the first sprinkling operation. It should be noted that an underground sprinkler system exists in the park area. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damage to this system due to his negligence. 2. Fertilizer_. Fertilizer shall be applied at a rate of ten (10) pounds per one --thousand (1,000) square feet. D. Measurement_ and Payment. Measurement and payment for the grass seed- ing shall be a lump sum price as set forth in the Sid Schedule of Items and Prices.
