Idaho, hereinafter known as the Owner,
. aY the City Hall, 728 Meridian Street,
Meridian, Idaho, until January 3, 1977, at
the hour of 8 o'clock, p.m. prevailing local
time at which time the Proposals will be
,opened and publicly read.
"The work contemplated under the
Project consists of the following:
Approximately two hundred and sixty
(260) linear feet of forty-two (42) inch
open -jointed concrete pipe, with a drain
outlet structure at the entrance and
connection to an existing forty two (42)
finch corrugated steel pipe;
Approximately fifty-five (55) linear feet
Eof .thirty-six (36) inch open -jointed'
concrete pipe, with a drain inlet structure
at the entrance, connection to the

The Owner reserves the right to waive

You that this office has no objection to the intent of awarding to the
contractor, Boise Paving and Asphalt Co., Inc, the work on the Meridian
Park project.
We have made note that Mr. Herold Cox, City Clerk of Meridian, is assigned
to assure compliance of Labor Standards Requirements and act in liaison
with a member of our HUD Staff.
Mr. Jesse Berain, HUD's Equal Opportunity Officer, will be attending the
9:00 a.m. preconstruction conference at Meridian City Hall on January 20.
We would advise that if you have not received copies of the Wage Determin-
ation, sent to the City of Meridian on 12/23/76 and 1/3/77 respectively,
please contact the Mayor Storey. It is important that your office be kept
apprised of publications, regulatory statutes and laws, as these apply
to this federal project.

At the Contractor's option, the entire seeding and fertilizint;
operation may be done by a hydroseeding operation.
The Owner shall be responsible for all watering except the first
sprinkling operation.
It should be noted that an underground sprinkler system exists
in the park area. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damage to
this system due to his negligence.
2. Fertilizer_. Fertilizer shall be applied at a rate of ten (10)
pounds per one --thousand (1,000) square feet.
D. Measurement_ and Payment. Measurement and payment for the grass seed-
ing shall be a lump sum price as set forth in the Sid Schedule of Items and
Prices.
