MASTER AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
BETWEEN
CITY OF MERIDIAN (OWNER) AND CIVIL SURVEY CONSULTANTS, INC. (ENGINEER)
This Task Order is made this 29th day of March, 2013 and entered into by and between the
City of Meridian, a municipal corporation organized under the laws of the State of Idaho,
hereinafter referred to as "City", and accepted by Civil Survey Consultants, Inc., hereinafter
referred to as "Engineer" pursuant to the mutual promises, covenant and conditions contained
in the Master Agreement (Category 9A) between the above mentioned parties dated ApriI13,
2010. The Project Name for this Task Order 10122.b is as follows:

PROJECT UNDERSTANDING
This task order provides professional survey services to assist the City in preparation for
submitting a short plat application to accomplish a land trade and satisfy the conversion
requirements of the Land and Water Conservation Fund. The consultant will perform field
survey services and prepare a preliminary plat drawing for short plat approval by the City
Council and Mayor, set property corner pins and prepare a final plat drawing for agency
approvals. The City will be responsible for circulating the final plat drawing to all agencies
pursuant to finalizing the land trade.
SCOPE OF WORK
The following tasks will be performed to allow the City to process a short plat.
Task 1 — Field Survey
1.1 Perform field surveys needed to locate and tie controlling corner monumentation
required to determine the exterior boundaries of the total parcel (Ada County Parcel
No. S1 1 1 222720).

1.2 Perform office calculations needed to determine the positions of any missing
corners on the exterior boundary and the new corner locations of the interior parcel
lines.
1.3 Perform field surveys to set missing and new corner monuments.
1.4 Prepare a short plat in compliance with Section 11-66 of the City of Meridian
Subdivision Ordinance.

ASSUMPTIONS
This Task Order does not include any engineering design that may be required by ACHD
or others as a condition of approval. Should that situation arise, Engineer can provide additional
services through a written task order change order.
CITY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide Engineer with a current title report with a boundary description and all the
easements affecting the property.
2. Process the plat through the City and gather signatures.
3. Pay all fees associated with the plat to the various reviewing agencies.
TIME OF COMPLETION and COMPENSATION SCHEDULE
The following schedule is based on a Notice to Proceed (NTP) from the City by March 2013
and resulting completion of all tasks no later than May 2013. A NTP issued on a different date
will change the schedule accordingly.

The Not -To -Exceed amount to complete all services listed above for this Task Order No.
10122.b is five thousand, four hundred eighty dollars ($5,480.00). No compensation will be
paid over the Not -to -Exceed amount without prior written approval by the City in the form of a
Change Order. The hourly rates for services and direct expenses are per the Master
Agreement (by this reference made a part hereof) and will be the basis for any additions and/or
deletions in services rendered. Travel and meals are excluded from this Task Order unless
explicitly listed in the Scope of Services AND Payment Schedule.
