BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, DONNELL, ROUNTREE, WARDLE
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF THE PARK
DEVELOPMENT AND IMPACT FEE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CITY PARK IN THE CHAMPION PARK
SUBDIVISION UNTIL JUNE 1, 2006; RATIFYING THE SIGNATURE OF THE
MAYOR THEREON; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the developer of the Champion Park Subdivision entered into a Park
Development Agreement to construct a City Park by December 31, 2005; and,
WHEREAS, the developer of the park has requested an extension of time to
complete the park until June 1, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, all other terms of the Park and Development and Impact Pee
Reimbursement Agreement remain the same.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the December 22, 2005 letter of extension attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same are hereby approved as to both
form and content.
Section 2. That the signature of the Mayor on the December 22, 2005
letter of extension is hereby ratified.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its adoption and approval.

Re: Champion Park City Park Extension
Hillview Development Corporation hereby requests an extension of the "Park.
Development, Park Impact Fee Reimbursement, and Real Property Conveyance
Agreement" until June 1, 2006 for the City Park we constructed in Champion Park
Subdivison.
This request is necessary due to the delay in obtaining a building permit for the restroom
building and due to inclement weather. We have coordinated this request Doug Strong
and Elroy Hufiof the Parks Department and they are in agreement to allowing it.
