RESOLUTION NO. 63
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT OF MONEY
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF RECREATION FACILITIES, GROUNDS AND
EQUIPMENT, AND DESIGNATING OFFICIALS TO DISBURSE FUNDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
WHEREAS, The City of Meridian has been granted certain
funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with application for Community
Development Funds, the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment requires formal certification of signatures of individuals
authorized to draw on the cited letter of credit by payment
voucher;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, that the City accept
the Grant offer of the Housing and Urban Development to improve
programs within the City of Meridian.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following are hereby
authorized to sign, on behalf of the City of Meridian, payment
vouchers, when drawn against its letter of credit, such requests
to be signed by any two of the following officials:
Don M. Storey Mayor
Herald J. Cox City Clerk
Helen Ryker City Treasurer
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that John 0. Fitzgerald, City
Attorney of the City of Meridian, be designated to certify the
authenticity of the signature of individuals authorized to
execute Treasury Form GFO-7585, Request for Payment on Letter
of Credit and Status of Funds Report.
