A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT OF MONEY FOR
THE IMPROVEMENT OF RECREATION.FACILITIES, GROUNDS AND EQUIPMENT,
AND DESIGNATING OFFICIALS TO DISBURSE FUNDS,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
WHEREAS, the City of Meridian has been granted certain funds
from the Department of Housing and Urban Developmentt and
WHEREAS, in conJunction with application for Community
Development Funds, the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment requires formal certification of signatures of individuals
authorized to draw on the cited letter of credit by payment voucher;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, THAT THE CITY accept the
Grant offer of the Housing and Urban Development to improve programs
within the City of Meridian.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following are hereby authorized
to sign, on behalf of the City of Meridian, payment vouchers, when
drgwn against its letter of credit, such requests to be signed by
any two of the following officials:
Don M. Storey Mayor
Herald J. Cox City Clerk
Helen Ryker City Treasurer
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Don H. Storey, Mayor of the City
of Meridian, be designated to certify the authenticity of the
signature of individuals authorized to execute Treasury Form GF0-
7585, Request for Payment on Letter of Credit and Status of Funds
Report.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, this 2nd
day of February, 1976.
APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Meridian, this 2nd day of
February, 1976.
