A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE OPERATION BY THE CITY OF MERIDIAN OF
A SWIMMING POOL TO BE BUILT BY THE WESTERN ADA RECREATION DISTRICT
ON PROPERTY LEASED FROM THE CITY OF MERIDIAN IN THE EVENT SUCH LEASE
IS CANCELLED,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
WHEREAS, The Western Ada Recreation District proposes to build a
swimming pool which will be partially located on land leased from the
City of Meridian pursuant to a lease agreement dated June 26, 1972, and
WHEREAS it is in the interest of all parties that the swimming pool
continue to operate in the event the lease from the City to Western Ada
Recreation District is cancelled for any reason,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City of Meridian, Ada County,
Idaho, that in the event the lease of June 26, 1972 is cancelled for any
reason that the City of Meridian will continue to operate said swimming
pool on such premises for the public use and benefit.
ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Meridian, this 10th day of
July, 1972.
APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Meridian, this 10th day of
