RESOLUTION 45
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING THE MAYOR OF MERIDIAN, DON M. STOREY, WITH THE
AUTHORITY TO DEAL WITH THE IDAHO DEPARTMENT OF PARKS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSTRUCTING A SWIMMING POOL IN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHOs
WHEREAS, the City of Meridian is interested in acquiring lands or
developing outdoor recreation facilities on the following described project
for the enjoyment of the citizenry of said City of Meridian, and the State
of Idaho,
Project descriptions Swimming Pool,
AND, Land and Water Conservation Fund let Financial assistance is
required for acqusition or development of said outdoor recreation facilities;
NOW, THEE ORE, be it resolved by the City of Meridian, Aria Countyq
Idaho, that said City of Meridian does agree to obligate the funds or
services stipulated below to satisfactorily complete the following project
and thus become eligible for -Land and Water Conservation -Fund Act financial
aid of 50% of the estimated or actual cost, whichever is less;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that such project and funds or services
shall be authorized as f ollowss

.AND, be it further resolved that Don X, Storey, Mayor, is hereby
authorized and directed to make applications to the,State of Idaho, Department
of Parks, to seek federal financial assistance on .this project for them and be
further authorized to take the necessary action to complete such projects.
AND, be it further resolved that this resolution and plan approved by
said City Council of the City of Meridian, be forwarded to the State of Idaho,
Department of Parks, for the purpose of obtaining such financial aid as their
share of the reimbursable acquisition or development costs.
ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Meridians this 13th day of
September, 1971.
