RE: Request to Install Shallow Drain System in Easement of Stokesberry & Finch
Laterals
Dear Mike:
Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) is in receipt of your letter; dated September `'s,
2014. You are requesting the City of Meridian Parks & Recreation Department, be allowed to
install a shallow drain system; in Kleiner Park to alleviate a drainage problem.
As we previously discussed; the License Agreement between Eugene M. Kleiner, Michael E.
Huter, and NMID dated December 7, 2010; covered the piping, relocation, landscaping, and
sprinklers allowing for the maintenance of such encroachments.
Only the 3" perforated pipe and bedding will be placed underneath the sod. The discharge will
be ntv a gallery located outside of 1`IMID's easement. Ln n: opinion. this xcill be accertab'.e
to NMID. Therefore no further agreement will be necessary.
As indicated in your letter; the provisions of the December 7, 2010 License Agreement will
still apply. This should be sufficient to cover this.
