BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, BORTON, CAVENER,
MILAM, PALMER, LITTLE ROBERTS
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, REAPPOINTING LESLIE MAULDIN TO SEAT 5 AND STEPHANIE
BARNES TO SEAT 6 OF THE MERIDIAN ARTS COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Meridian City Code 2-1-1 establishes the Meridian Arts Commission, its
members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS, Leslie Mauldin was appointed to Seat 5 on the Meridian Arts Commission by
Resolution No. 13-910 on February 13, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Stephanie Barnes was appointed to Seat 6 of the Meridian Arts Commission by
Resolution No. 13-922 on May 7, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems the appointment of Leslie
Mauldin to Seat 5 and Stephanie Barnes to Seat 6 of the Meridian Arts Commission to be in the best
interest of the Meridian Arts Commission and of the City of Meridian;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-1-1, Leslie Mauldin is hereby
reappointed to Seat 5 and Stephanie Barnes to Seat 6 of the Meridian Arts Commission, for a term to
expire February 28, 2019.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption
and approval. vii
