UDC 11-3G-3 Common open space and
site amenity requirements
1. The total land area of Aall
common open space that
shall meets the standards as
set forth in subsection B of
this section shall equal or
exceed ten percent (10%) of
the gross land area of the
development.
2. One additional All site
amenities that shall meet the
standards as set forth in
subsection C of this section
shall be required for each
additional twenty acres of
development area.
3. Point Values: The purpose of the point system is to allow a greater flexibility in the design and the integration of the open space and ame nities in a
development. The qualifying open space and site amenities shall be quantified on a points system and aggregated in accord with UDC Table 11-3G-3B and
UDC Table 11-3G-3C. In determining the number of points required, the first five (5) acres shall consist of 2 points and 1 point is required for each additional
10 acres. In no case shall the development contain less than five percent (5%) of qualified open space.
