Thanks for taking the time to prepare the staff report for the project. We appreciate the thought and effort that went
into the report.
Based on our review we are in agreement with the staff report with one comment:
1. Just wanted to clarify that the landscape buffer along the westerly property line would be 25’ with the current
residential use. However, when the property to the west is developed by others by construction of a road
adjacent to our westerly property line, the landscape buffer could be potentially be narrower.

Attached are the Planning & Zoning Commission’s recommendations and the Staff Report for the proposed
preliminary plat for Settlers Square H-2015-0014. These items are scheduled to be on the City Council
agenda on January 5 th , 2016. The public hearing will be held at City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Avenue, beginning
at 6:00 pm. Please call or e-mail with any questions.
