To the planning commission of Meridian Idaho; CITY CLERKS OFFICE
Long has man been greedy building homes, businesses and the like for one thing, money. When will the
needs of the people of one village or suburb be addressed? People need green spaces to gather and I
enjoy one another. Yes when houses are built small backyards are added to give the illusion of privacy
but it is a false security. People need places to walk and feel openness without the fear of cars running
them over. The need to feel the green over their heads and around them and not their neighbors front
lawns while walking down the street.
All that I am stating is turn the Sundial Circle Subdivision 2.54 acre plat into a park for that area. It would
have a positive impact on the neighborhood and surrounding areas. With a playground in the heart of it
and picnic areas on the peripheral with a bike walk area around the circle of it would make a place of
enjoyment for all in the neighborhood and surrounding area.
Conger Management Group wants to finish off the sundial circle subdivision with a bang. Well let them
set a park there instead of houses that would crowd each other and promote incessant decay quickly.
Since it has been proven time again that neighborhood's with a circular form become ghetto like within
five years. As this plan shows below;
If the projected whistle In circle is implemented we are looking at a faulty neighborhood. It will perform
poorly and subject the surrounding neighborhood's to problems like abandoned cars loose dogs even
drugs.
I implore the planning commission to set this plat as a park for the people. Give the development
company an offset to compensate them and allow the surrounding neighborhoods to continue to
prosper and grow.
Thank You;
