COUPLERS AT END OF MAINLINES AND ISOLATION VALVES DOWNSTREAM OF
MAINLINE TEES.
4. WATER SOURCE FOR IRRIGATION SYSTEMS IS NON -POTABLE WATER. SEE
CIVIL DRAWINGS FOR WATERLINE LOCATIONS AND BACKFLOW PREVENTION
DEVICE INSTALLATION DETAILS. CONTRACTOR TO INSTALL BACKFLOW PER
CITY, STATE, AND FEDERAL GUIDELINES. INSTALL SYSTEM IN STRICT
ACCORDANCE WITH ALL PERTINENT CODES AND REGULATIONS, THE
REFERENCED STANDARDS AND THE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS.

SYSTEM. REFERENCE THE EMITTER SCHEDULE FOR THE NUMBER OF

PSI AT THE POINT OF CONNECTION AND 30 PSI AT ALL ZONE VALVES.
CONTRACTOR SHALL ADJUST DESIGN OF IRRIGATION SYSTEM BASED UPON
VERIFIED AVAILABLE WATER PRESSURE, AND GALLONS PER MINUTE OF
WATER DISCHARGE.

REPRESENTATIVE IMMEDIATELY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP ON SITE AT
ALL TIMES DURING INSTALLATION OF THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM AN UP TO
DATE AS -BUILT OF ALL INSTALLED COMPONENTS OF THE IRRIGATION
SYSTEM.
8. ALL IRRIGATION DRIP ZONES SHALL BE CONTROLLED USING THE SPECIFIED
DRIP ZONE CONTROL KIT AS DETAILED. PROVIDE PVC LATERALS TO BEDS
AND CONNECT TO PE PIPE AS DETAILED AND AS REQUIRED. ALL WATERING
ZONES FOR TREES SHALL BE CONTROLLED WITH A STANDARD IRRIGATION
CONTROL VALVE. SEE SCHEDULE FOR SPECIFIC SIZE, MODEL, AND
MANUFACTURER INFORMATION
9. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE SLEEVING FOR PIPE BELOW PAVEMENT.
SLEEVES SHALL BE SCH. 40 PVC. ALL MAINLINE SLEEVES SHALL BE A
MINIMUM 2X LARGER THAN THE MAINLINE SIZE. ALL LATERAL SLEEVES SHALL
BE 2" MIN. SUPPLY ONE EXTRA SLEEVE WITH EACH MAINLINE SLEEVE FOR
CONTROL WIRES. COORDINATE SLEEVE INSTALLATION WITH OTHER TRADES
AND OTHER PROJECTS.
10. IRRIGATION SYSTEM SHALL BE INSTALLED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH ALL
PERTINENT CODES AND REGULATIONS, THE REFERENCED STANDARDS, AND
THE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS.
11. IRRIGATION SYSTEM SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH REGARD TO PLANT
MATERIAL, WIND AND SUN EXPOSURE TO ENSURE PROPER PLANT REQUIRED
WATER COVERAGE.
12. PROVIDE ALL COMPONENTS REQUIRED FOR PROPER WINTERIZATION OF
SYSTEM.
