A. Introductions and opening statements (Mayor De Weerd)
B. Discuss construction alternatives (Adam Zaragoza and Roxanne Holland)
a. Staff will present a summary of the construction options that were shown to the
public on August 17, 2011. Staff will provide a summary of the comments received,
business responses to the alternatives and possible alternate accesses for the rolling
closure or full closure scenarios. In addition, cost and duration estimates will be
provided for each alternative.
Staff will seek any recommendations or further information that the Council and
Commissions may need such as:
• Selecting a construction alternative
• Response to public comments
• Alternate access approach
C. Business outreach strategy before and during construction activities (Bryan Huey and Caleb
Hood)
a. Staff will provide a summary plan of business outreach activities and public
notifications.
Staff will seek any comments or suggestions regarding the business outreach plan.
D. Miscellaneous project updates(Adam Zaragoza)
a. Staff will provide an update on miscellaneous project items, such as: percent of right-
of-way complete and design items.
