CC - Applicant Response to Recs/Staff Report - 7/17Machelle Hill From: Matthew Schultz Sent: Friday, July 17, 2015 1:59 PM To: Bill Parsons; Machelle Hill; Jacy Jones; Jaycee Holman; Ted Baird; Bill Nary; Guy Hendricksen Subject: Re: Avebury Recs for 07/21/2015 CC MTG Bill ... based on the letter we submitted early in the week we are obviously not in support of Staffs recommendation to provide a sidewalk through the private rear yards of the lots along Pine, except that portion from the parking lot to the Five Mile Pathway which will be located outside of the lots (other side of fence) and in a common lot. We believe homeowner access from the front is most desirable, convenient, and standard practice. If the trade off is to provide sidewalk on both sides of Avebury Way in exchange for not doing the sidewalk through the rear yards as requested we would go that route and lose 5' of buildable area before we lose the privacy. However, we will stand by the requests in our letter and see how Council responds before making that decision.
