RE: AZ 15-007 & PP 15-010/Sovi Subdivision; 3515 S Eagle Rd.
Dear Jaycee:
Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) has no comment on the public hearing for
Annexation and Rezoning for this above mentioned property. However in regards to the
Preliminary Plat for this property; NMID has the following comments:
Preliminary Plat shows all drainage to be retained onsite. This will be acceptable to NMID.
In response to Mr. Congor’s letter to Mr. Parsons of May 29, 2015; Mr. Congor indicates that
NMID does not have any water available in its pressurized irrigation system for Messina
Meadows. This is incorrect. NMID met with Mr. Congor and worked out details of possible
connection point that would require an upgrade to NMID’s existing PUIS system. NMID
would like to note this comment.
At this point NMID will not require a Land Use Change Application be filed since all drainage
is being retained onsite and no NMID facilities will be impacted. However if connections to
NMID’s PUIS system is desired a Land Use Change Application will be required at that time.
