Comment for Public Hearing 5-21-2015, Shelburne Subdivision
Re: Proposed Shelburne Subdivision Public Hearing May 21, 2005
To Whom it May Concern:
My husband and I live at 3550 E. Zaldia Lane. Our property lies along the north boundary of the
proposed Shelburne Subdivision, west of the proposed water feature.
We appreciate the efforts of the developer to try to create a transitional development that would fit in
more closely with the surrounding larger properties. However, the traffic issue needs to be
addressed. The sole access to the entire 78 homes in Shelburne Subdivision currently is at S.
Tavistock Way which means the entire traffic flow to and from this development is via Zaldia
Lane. The stub streets, once connected at some time in the future, will have little or no effect on the
Zaldia traffic in front of our home. Taking a private road that serves eight homes and making it into a
public street to provide the main access to the subdivision does not in any way support a transitional
plan. We would like to see something in the plan that would ease the traffic impact on Zaldia Lane.
Also, we would like clarification on whether Zaldia will be renamed "Zaldia Street" as printed on the
preliminary plat map, or if it will remain "Zaldia Lane."
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Janie Teeter
