BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, BORTON, CAVENER, MILAM, ROUNTREE, ZARE MBA
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, APPOINTING DAWN CRONK TO THE MERIDIAN HISTORIC
PRESERVATION COMMISSION AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, seat no. 1 on the Historic Preservation Commission is vacant; and
WHEREAS, Meridian City Code § 2-1-3(A)(2) provides that members of the Historic
Preservation Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council on a
majority vote, and that that vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as original appointments and
the appointee shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems the appointment of Dawn Croak
to be in the best interest of the Historic Preservation Commission and of the City of Meridian;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Dawn Cronk is hereby appointed to the Meridian Historic Preservation
Commission, fora term to expire on October 31, 2017; and
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption
and approval.
