RE: Bellabrook East Subdivision AZ -15-001 & PP -1S-001
Dear Mayor and City Council;
At the February 19, 2015 Planning and Zoning Meeting the Commission recommended approval of the
Bellabrook East Subdivision. At that meeting I recommended that the emergency access to the south of
the property be paved instead of leaving it gravel. However, that did not get included in the motion to
approve. I would like the City Council to consider having that access paved as a micro -pathway with
breakaway bollards to prevent traffic. By paving the access it would be easier to maintain and look nicer
adjacent to Locust Grove Road. Weeds can grow though a gravel road and becomes a maintenance
problem and would look unsightly if not maintained. This can be a nice amenity for the residents in the
back to have a walking path to access Locust Grove and can become a walking loop for the
neighborhood to have a healthy lifestyle. Thank you for your consideration and please require the
emergency access to be paved.
