A special pre -council meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 6:00
p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2013, by Mayor Tammy de Weerd.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Keith Bird, David Zaremba, Brad Hoaglun.
Members Absent: Charlie Rountree.
Item 1: Roll -call Attendance:
Roll call.

De Weerd: Okay. I will go ahead and call this meeting to order. It is a special meeting
of the City Council. Today's date is Wednesday, January 2nd. It's 6:00 p.m. I will start
with roll call attendance, Madam Clerk.
Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda Adopted
De Weerd: Thank you. Item No. 2 is adoption of the agenda.
Hoaglun: Madam Mayor?
De Weerd: Mr. Hoaglun.
Hoaglun: I move adoption of the special meeting agenda as printed.
Bird: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second. All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion
carried.
THREE AYES. ONE ABSENT. MOTION CARRIED.
Item 3: Executive Session Per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(d)(f): (d) To
Consider Records That are Exempt From Disclosure as Provided in
Chapter 3, Title 9, Idaho Code; and (f) To Consider and Advise Its
Legal Representatives in Pending Litigation
De Weerd: Item 3 is Executive Session.

De Weerd: Mr. Bird.
Bird: I move we go into Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(d) and
(1)(f).
Hoaglun: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second to enter into Executive Session. Madam
Clerk, will you call roll.
Roll Call: Bird, yea; Rountree, absent; Zaremba, absent; Hoaglun, yea.
De Weerd: All ayes. Motion carried.
THREE AYES. ONE ABSENT. MOTION CARRIED.
De Weerd: We are adjourned into Executive Session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: (6:01 p.m. to 7:01 p.m.)
De Weerd: Council, I would entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session.
Bird: So moved.
Hoaglun: Second.
De Weerd: All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion carried.
