Flow meters will include a flow straightener to reduce required length of pipe run before flow meter. This will assist with the ability to minimize vault size. • Pressure reducing valves equipped with valve position indicators and external y -strainers. • The pressure gauge and pressure transducer located on the pressure reducing valve will be eliminated. A pressure gauge and transducer will be located upstream and downstream of pressure reducing valve. • Controls for pressure reducing valve and bypass piping will be flipped to other side of pressure reducing valve. • A meter and a check valve will be added to the bypass. If possible bypass will come off pressure reducing valve instead of saddle taps. • A water supply tap with vacuum breaker will be added to each detail.
