RE: R7, 4-007 & PP 14-017/Southridge Subdivision
Dear Jaycee:
RZ 14-007:
Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) has no comment.
PP 14-017:
A Land Use Change Application will be required. All laterals and waste ways must be
protected. All of this area lies directly below the District's Ridenbaugh Canal. Much of the
Ridenbaugh Canal remains an unlined high fill canal. ANY development below it will have to
be closely analyzed.
The Ridenbaugh Canal has several easements within this area; they are a minimum of:
r one hundred twenty feet (120'), sixty feet (60') each side of the centerline;
➢ one hundred forty feet (140'), sixty feet (60') left and eight feet (80') right of centerline
(facing downstream)
AND
Y one hundred thirty feet (130'), sixty feet (60') left and seventy feet (70') right of centerline
(facing downstream).
These easements must be protected. Any encroachment without a signed License
Agreement and approved plan before any construction is started is unacceptable.
