Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) has no comment on the above -referenced
application for REZONE ONLY..
All laterals and waste ways must be protected. All municipal surface drainage must be
retained on-site. If any surface drainage leaves the site, Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District
(NMID) must review drainage plans.

RE: CPAM 14-002 & AZ 14-013 TRIBAL FIRE SYSTEMS
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced comprehensive plan
amendment annexation and zoning application for the Tribal Fire Systems at NW corner of S.
Rolling Hill Drive and Overland Road south of I-84. ITD has the following review comments:
ITD has no objection to this application and requires no mitigation.
2. ITD has comprehensive rules governing outdoor advertising (IDAPA 39.03.60).
IDAPA 39.04.32 also requires that signs not "dazzle or blind" drivers. The current
trend toward high intensity signs has caused an increasing number of driver complaints
on urban segments of the State Highway System. This applicant should be aware of the
issue and plan the site's signing and lighting strategies accordingly.
