BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, BORTON, CAVENER,
MILAM, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, APPOINTING RHONDA MCCARVEL TO SEAT 1 OF THE MERIDIAN
PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Meridian City Code Title 2, Chapter 4 established the Meridian Planning
and Zoning Commission, its members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS, Seat 1 of the Planning and Zoning Commission is currently vacant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems the appointment of Rhonda
McCarvel to Seat 1 of the Planning & Zoning Commission to be in the best interest of the Meridian
Planning and Zoning Commission and of the City of Meridian;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-4-1, Rhonda McCarvel is hereby
appointed to Seat 1 of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission, for a term to expire January
31, 2019.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption
and approval.
