BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, BORTON, CAVENER,
MILAM, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, RE -APPOINTING ASHLYN MORLOCK AS YOUTH COMMISSIONER TO
THE MERIDIAN SOLID WASTE ADVISORY COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Meridian City Code Title 2, Chapter 6 establishes the Solid Waste Advisory
Commission, its members and terms of their appointments;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian recognizes and values the unique
perspective and input of the youth of the Meridian community as it pertains to solid waste within
the City, and to that end Meridian City Code § 2-6-3(B) states that a youth member may be
appointed to the Solid Waste Advisory Commission;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems the appointment of Ashlyn Morlock
to the Solid Waste Advisory Commission to be in the best interest of the Solid Waste Advisory
Commission and the City of Meridian;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That, pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-6-3(B), Ashlyn Morlock is hereby re-
appointed to the Solid Waste Advisory Commission, for a term to expire on August 31, 2015.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
