Thank you for your comments and suggestions for this project. We heard from Greg that'no trees and only
shallow -rooting shrubs are allowed in the easement. We have revised the landscape plan to include the
recommendations. It is attached. If you don't mind, please substitute these sheets into the other plans that you
will review for the project. Once we have other comments, we will return a full set for a final review at a later
date. In the meantime, I wanted you to know that I believe we now comply with the NMID requirements for
the landscape, but of course we will let you determine that.

First of all, thank you for your help in upgrading the Red Feather pump station to accommodate Phase I of our
project in Meridian (Regency at River Valley). We are currently working with the City of Meridian on
approval for Phase II.
Attached is a drawing of our proposed layout and landscape plan for Phase II. The City code requires trees in
the parking islands, however that places trees in the easement, and in some areas directly over the existing
pipe. I was asked by the City to contact you and determine what could be allowed for landscape by NMID for
the area identified on the plan (Finch Lateral easement). Following your response, I will make adjustments to
the landscape plan and return to the City for their review.
