300 FEET NORTH OF USTTCK ROAD AND APPROXIMATELY 600 FEET WEST OF CINDER
ROAD, WITHIN SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 4 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, NIFRiDIAN, IDAFIO,
TO BE KNOWN AS WINDSONG SUBDIVISION AND WHICH LIES CONTIGUOUS OR
ADJACENT TO THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, COTJNTY OF ADA, STATC
OF IDAHO; HAVE MADE A REQUEST FOR ANNEXATION 1N WRITING TO TH ~ COUNCIL;

ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO ADD SAID PROPERTY TO THE
OFFICIAL MAPS OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO; AND DIRECTING THE CLERK OF
THE Cl1'Y OF MERIDIAN TO FILE A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE ORDINANCE AND MAP OF
THE AREAS TO BE ANNEXED WITH ADA COUNTY RECORDER, AUDITOR, TREASURER
AND ASSESSOR, AND THE STATE TAX COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO,
PURSUANT TO IDAHO CODE SECTION 50-223 AND SECTION 63-2215.

SECTION 1. FINDINGS: That the following described land is contiguous and adjacent to
the City of Meridian, Idaho, and that the City of Meridian has received a written request for
annexation to the City of Meridian, Idaho, by the owners of said Property, to-wit:

A parcel of land located in the Southeast '/a of the Southeast '% of Section 35, T.4N., R.l W.,
B.M., Ada County, Idaho, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 35, from which the !/y comer common to
Section 2 ofT.3N., R.1W., and the said Section 35 bears North 89°14'32" West, 2643:36 feet;
thence along the East line of said Section 35 North 00°15'43" East, G58.00 feet; thence North
89° 17'57" West, 390.00 feet to the REAL POINT OF BEGININNG.
Thence South 00°15'42" West, 535.08 feet to a point on the northerly right-of--way of the
Creason Canal;
Thence along said right-of--way North 73°35'48" West, 798.72 feet to a point on the East
boundary of Bridgetower Crossing Subdivision No. 1, as same is recorded in Book 84 of plats at
Page 9392, records of Ada County, Idaho;
Thence along said boundary and the East boundary of Bridgetower Crossing Subdivision No.
4, as same is recorded in Book of plats at Page ,records of Ada County, Tdaho,
North 00°26'55" East, 981.51 feet to the Southwest corner of Watersong Estates, as svne is recorded
in Book of plat at Page ,records of Ada County, ldaho;
Thence aloog flee southerly boundary of said subdivision South 89° 12' TS" East, 493.66 feet;
Thence departing said boundary South 00°12'31" West, 661.81 feeC;
Thence South 89°17'57" East, 269.78 feet to the Point of Begim~ing. Containing 15.04 acres,
more or less.
SECTION 2: That Che above-described real property be, and the same is hereby annexed and
made a part of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho.
SECTION 3: That the real property herein by this ordinance annexed to dle City of Meridian.
hereinabove described shall be zoned Medium Density Residential District (R-8).
SECTION 4: That the City Engineer is hereby directed to alter a]] use and area maps as well
as the offcial zoning maps, comprehensive plan and all official maps depicting the boundaries of the
City of Meridian in accordance with this ordinance.
SECTION 5: All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed, rescinded and annulled.

SECTION 6: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication, according to law.
SECTION 7: The Clerk of the City of Meridian shall, within ten (10) days following the
effective date of this ordinance, duly file a certified copy of this ordinance and a map prepared in a
draftsman manner plainly and clearly designating the boundaries of the City of Meridian, including
the Iatids herein aru~exed, with the following officials of the County of Ada, State of Idaho, to-wit:
the Recorder, Auditor, Treasurer and Assessor and shall also file simultaneously a certified copy of
this ordinance and map with the State Tax Commission of the State of Idaho, all in compliance with
Idaho Cade §63-2215 and §50-223.

PROVIDING FOR AN ANNEXATION AND 7,ONING ORDINANCE
An Ordinance of the City of Meridian granting annexation and zoning for land owmed by
Stubblefield Construction Company, Inc., to be known as Windsong Subdivision,
consisting of 15.04 acres and commonly located approximately 300 feet north of Ustick
Road and approximately 600 feet west of Linder Road, within Section 35, Township 4
North, Range 1 West, Meridian, Idaho, with a zoning designation of R-8 Medium
Density Residential District; and providing for effect of invalidity; providing that al I
ordinances and resolutions in conflict are repealed and rescinded; and providing an
effective date.
