TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
It is the intent of the submitted landscape plan to indicate land-
scaping treatment of the "Cherry Lane Mobile Home Park." We have made
an attempt to locate major plantings where, at this very early date, our
studies indicate they may occur. Landscape people with whom we have been
in contact, tell us we must be flexible to the point that changes can be
made as the development and occupancy occurs. Therefore, it is our pur-
pose to show the types of planting we expect to use but we are sure that
locations shown are approximate only.
All areas that are not occupied'"by homes, other installations,
plantings or paved will be seeded to lawn. Shrub and flower areas will
be developed by individual occupants under the guidance and control of
the management with the idea of complimenting the individual home and the
entire park.
Attached is a listing of trees and shrubs by group and number that
are proposed for use. Corresponding numbers appear on the plat. Sizes
indicate ultimate size.
It is the desire that "Cherry Lane Mobile Home Park" be developed
in such a way that it is attractive, first to those living in the park
and secondly to those who will observe it.
Respectfully submitted,
R. M. Phillips

Dear Mayor Storey:
This letter is written on behalf of Embassy, Inc., a mobile
home park located on 424 West Cherry Lane.
Recently the zoning of some property located contiguous to
this park was changed on behalf of the owner, Ted Hepper.
It has been reported that a service station would be located
on this property. However, in discussing the matter with
Mr. Hepper, the President of Embassy, Inc. has determined
that a Circle K Store was going to be built there and that
gas pumps would be installed. This is to advise that Embassy,
Inc. would not object to the building of the Circle K Store
but would object strenously to the construction and main-
tenance of a service station at this location.
Also, can you advise if your City has a requirement that
property owners in the area are to be contacted in the event
of a zoning change?
Your attention to these matters is greatly appreciated.
Ve ruly yours,
> >'~
