NOTICE OF APPLICATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the Ordinances of the City of Meridian
and the laws of the State of Idaho, that Steven R. Paul has filed with the Zoning
Administrator of the City of Meridian an application for an Accessory Use Permit
for the operation of a photography business out of his home at 3070 West
Fieldstream Drive, Meridian, Idaho. Comments, either for or against, said
application must be filed with the Zoning Administrator within fifteen (15) days
after the initial publication of this notice and shall be addressed to Shari Stiles,
Zoning Administrator, City of Meridian, 200 East Carlton, Suite #201, Meridian,
Idaho. If there are objections filed within the time allowed, the Planning and
Zoning Commission shall hold a public hearing on the application, after proper
notice, and may grant or deny the application after making and adopting Findings
of Fact and Conclusions of Law.
The property at 3070 West Fieldstream Drive is more particularly

Description of requested accessory use: I am self- employed and wish to run my small
photography business from my home on 3070 West Fieldstream Drive in Meridian. Most
of my photographs are taken on location in Boise, but I do have some customers-mostly
brides and their mothers, visit my home. I usually meet with one or two customers each
day. On rare occasions I do some photographs in the garage. I have an office in the rear
of the house and meet with customers in the living room. All consultations are done by
appointment only with no signage on the property to announce that we are a business.
There is also no address listed on my cards, phone listing or brochures to keep people
from dropping by unannounced. The driveway will be sufficient for parking. As soon as I
can afford it I will be moving the studio out of the home.
