On Monday, I inspected and gave P8Z approval to Laurel Hill for an Accessory Use Permit to operate a
Family Day Care (maximum 5 children) out of her residence. The home address is 2563 N. Man O'War
Avenue in Tuthill Estates Subdivision No. 2.
Please arrange with Laurel to c~ndud a fire inspection for the operation of her Family Day Care to
finalize the City approval process. Laurel's day phone is 888-9639.

Dear Ms. Stiles,
We have come to an agreement with Mrs. Hill concerning her application
for a permit to allow a Family Child Care Home at 2563 N. Man O War Ave. We
have agreed that Mrs. Hill will not allow the children in her care outside until
10:00 a.m. and that she would be outside with them until 11:00 to help keep the
noise down. It is also understood that Mrs. Hill will only be allowed to watch five
or fewer children which includes her own children. ,

Dear Ms. Stiles,
I have spoke with Ann Mogel twice concerning my application for a Family
Child Care Home. Enclosed is a letter I typed for Ann and Bryan Mogel which
has our agreement. I have waited until 11:00 a.m. numerous times to reach
them, but they have not been home. The Mogel's both work occasionally until
11:00 or later. Although I respect their concern for their need to rest, I too am
concerned about having to keep the children I care for inside until 11:00 a.m.
Most of the time this will not be a problem, but I am concerned of limiting their
time outside in the morning during the summer months. The small children I
plan on caring for cannot be outside for a long time or in the early afternoon
when it is extremely hot because of the risk of sunburns and other potential
health problems. I also feel that by allowing the Mogel's to quietly rest until
10:00 gives them enough time to recieve the adequate rest that they need.

and the laws of the State of Idaho, that Laurel Hill has filed with the Zoning
Administrator of the City of Meridian an application for an Accessory Use Permit

fifteen (15) days after the initial publication of this notice and shall be addressed

#201, Meridian, Idaho. If there are objections filed within the time allowed, the
Planning and Zoning Commission shall hold a public hearing on the application,
