I went ahead and issued the AUP even though there were two outstanding issues. The only fire extinguisher they had on site was in the motorhome so they are planning to purchase another ane for the house. The second issue was the rear yard gate. There is an existing gate and latch to the front yard on the west side. However, they are planning to install a new gate at the rear of the house (side yard). They did not want to purchase this new gate until they knew the AUP was approved. So, 1 told them you would be following up in about 2 weeks to make sure they have the extinguisher purchased and gate installed. Could you please make a note to call Shirley? Her number is 288-1293. Also, is the Fire Department signing the AUP's now? I didn't know if MFD would be doing an inspection or not. Please let Shirley know this as well.
