You recently sent a coy of the plot plan for the Settlement Bridge subdivision. I will not be able to attend
the hearing on Feb 24 . however I would like to submit the following comments for yow consideration.
Mc Millen is a four-lane road but it narrows [o two lanes west of Eagle Road. Duriug the rush hour, traffic
is backed up for ahalf--mile or more between Eagle road and Locust Grove. This 266-lot subdivision will
greatly add to the traffic on McMillan road. How do you plan to deal with this traffic increase?
I assume that there will be a turn lane at the entrance of this new subdivision. There is a acute need for turn
lanes at the entrances to the Austin Creek and Edinbrough Place subdivisions. The obvious solution would
be to widen McMillen road between Eagle and Locust Grove. Perhaps something could be worked out
with the cooperation oaf the~Ada County Highway District.
