HomeMy WebLinkAbout13-925 Appointing 9 members to Transportation CommissionCITY OF MERIDIAN RESOLUTION N0. ~,~- aS BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, HOAGLUN, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ESTABLISHING APPOINTMENTS FOR MEMBERS FOR THE MERIDIAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian, by the passage of Resolution No. 13-1542, on February 26, 2013 ,amending Title 2, Chapter 3 to the Meridian City Code and thereby created the City of Meridian Transportation Commission; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO: Section 1. That, pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-3-3, the following members of the Meridian Transportation Commission be appointed to the following seats and terms of service to be effective May 22, 2013: Seat 1, one-year term: David Ballard, expiring May 31, 2014; Seat 2, one-year term: Jo Ann Bujarski, expiring May 31, 2014; Seat 3, one-year term: Jack McGee, expiring May 31, 2014; Seat 4, youth member:I~icoJ~ C~o~~2~expiring August 31, 2013; Seat 5, two-year term: Stephen Lewis, expiring May 31, 2015; Seat 6, two-year term: Tracy Hopkins, expiring May 31, 2015; Seat 7, two-year term: Pat Morandi, expiring May 31, 2015; Seat 8, three-year term: Larry Gardner, expiring May 31, 2016; Seat 9, three-year term: Ryan Lancaster, expiring May 31, 2016. Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption and approval.
