Attached is a request from D. MclGnnon for a deferral for Saguaro Canyon's AZ, PP and CUP public
hearings for the 2/10 council meeting. He doesn't list a specific date to be continued io beouse it is
dependent on noticing deadlines. The main reason for the deferral is that P&Z staff asked for them to
include new land in their AZ legal description. (fhe revised legal description is also attached for the
official record.) The new land adds new properly owners to the original 300' mailing list, so we will need
to re-notice the AZ headng. There are no changes to the PP or CUP applications - it will only alfed the
AZ application.
Kristy will have the new mailing list over to you by tomonow morning. We'll need to re-notice for fhe
soonest available Cily Council hearing after noticing requirements are met Can you please let Dave
MclGnnon and me know what that date will be?Thanks!
Dave, I noticed that the map attached to the legal does not have descriptive call-outs for brings, etc.
Public Workswill need a new map thatshows these before the City Council hearing. Thanks

RE: Revised Saguaro Canyon Legal Description
Dear Brad,
Pursuant to our conversation with Anna Powell eazlier this week I am submitting the
attachui revised lega] description for the Saguaro Canyon Annexation. The 24-foot wide
access road providing cotwectivity from the Boyack Parcel io Meridian Road has been
added W the legal, description to provide froNage for dle 5-acre lot,
in addition to the revised legal description we aze requesting that the 24-foot wide access
load be considered the minitnttm Iot frontage for t11e Boyack parcel. The reductiion in
.minimum lot liontage should be added to the other reductions requested in the Planned
Development.
I have spoken to the Pine Department about this access and they will require it to be
consu-ucted to support a 70,000 i6 vehicle and an approved turn around will need to be
constructed on site. The Tire Department also has concerns regarding the size of the
ltouse, and has requested that it be restricted to Less than 3,600 square feet (including
garage).
Only one home is being requested at this time aad any additional homes oa the Boyack
property will have to wait for municipal services to be provided from laser phases of
Saguaro Canyon.
We recognize the need to notify all progcrty owners with a 300' radius ofthe new portion
of the legal dcsniption and that the noticing will delay the City Council's Public Hraring.
We would ask that you begin noiicing the pmperry owners as gtuckly as possible in order
to litrtit the delay caused by the introduction of the revised legal description. Please
consider this a request to continue or table to a specific date for all of the public hearings
related to Saguaro Canyon until they can be heard together.
