Attached is a request from D. MclGnnon for a deferral fir Saguaro Canyon's AZ, PP and CUP public
hearings for the 2110 council meeting. He doesn't list a specific date to be continued to because it is
dependent on noticing deadlines. The main reason for the deferral is that P&Z staff asked for them to
include new land in their AZ legal description. (The revised legal description is also attached for the
official record.) The new land adds new property owners to the origir>al 300' mating list, so we will need
to re-notice the AZ hearing. There are no Changes to the PP or CUP applications - it wiU only affect the
AZ application.
Kristy will have the new mailing list over to you by tomorrow morning. We'll need to re-notice for the
soonest available City Council hearing after noticing requirements are met Can you please let Dave
MclGnnon and me know what that date will be? Thanks!
Dave, I noticed that the map attached to the legal does not have descriptive call-outs for bearings, etc.
Public Workswill need a new map that shows these before the City Council hearing Thanks

RE: Revised Saguazo Canyon Legal Description
Dear Brad,
Pursuant to our conversation with A[ttta Powell eazlier this week I am submitting the
attackuxi revised legal dcscription for the Saguaro Canyon Annexation. The 24-foot wide
access road providing comiectivity from the Boyack Parcel to Meridian Road has bean
added to the legal description [o provide frontage for the 5-acre lot,
In addition to rite revised legal description we aze requesting that the 24-foot wide access
road be considered the minimum lot frontage for rite Boyack parcel. The reduction in
rninimum lot frontage should be added to the other reductions requested in the Planned
Development.
I have spoken to the Pire Depaz(ment about this access and they will require it to be
constructed to support a 70,000 lli vehicle and an approved turn around will need to be
constructed on sitc. the fire llepariment also has coacems regarding rile size of the
house, and has requested that it be restricted to less than 3,600 square feet {including

Only one home is being requested at this time and any additional homes on the Aoyack
property will have to wait for municipal services to be provided from Baler phases oC
Saguaro Canyon.
We recognize the need to notify all progcrty owners with a 300' radius of the new portion
of the legal desniption and that the noticing will delay the City Council's Public Hearing.
We would ask that you begin noticing We property owners as quickly as possible in order
to limit the delay caused'by the introduction of the revised legal description. Please
consider this a request to continue or table to a specifc date for alI of rite public hearings
.related to Saguaro Canyon until they can be hcazd together.
