Attached is a request from D. McKnnon for a defenal for Saguaro Canyon's AZ, PP and CUP public
hearings for the 2110 counal meeting. He doesn't list a specific date to tie continued io because it is
dependent on noticing deadlines. The main reason for the deferral is that P8Z staff asked for them to
include new land in their AZ legal description. (the revised legal description is also attached for the
official record.) The new land adds new property owners to the original 300' matting list, so we will need
to re-notice the AZ hearing. There are no changes to the PP or CUP applications - it will only affect the
AZ application.
Kristy will have the new mailing list over to you by tomorrow morning. We'll need to re-notice for the
soonest available City Council hearing otter noticing requirements are met Can you please let Dave
MclGnrwn and me know what that date will be?Thanks!
Dave, I noticed that the map attached to the legal does not have descriptive call-outs for bearings, etc.
Public Works witl need a new map that shows these before the City Council hearing. Thanks.

Dear Brad,
Pursuant to out conversation with Anna Powell earlier this week 1 am submitting the
attachtxi revised lega] dcscription for the Saguaro Canyon Annexalion. The 24-foot wide
access road providing conueetivity from the Boyaek Parcel io Meridian Road has been
added to thc legal description [o provide frontage for the 5-acre lot.
In addition to the revised legal description we aze requesting that the 24-foot wide access
road be considered the minimum lot frontage for fire Boyack parcel: The reduction in
minimum lot frontage should be added to the other reductions requested in the Planned
Deve]opment.
I have spoken to the Tire Department about this access and they will require it to be
constructed Yo support a 70,000 ib vehicle and an approved turn around will need to be
constructed on site. The fire Department also has concerns regarding the sizx of the
house, and has requested that it be restricted to less than 3,600 squanc feet (inc]uding
g~'age)•
Only one lwme is being requested at this time and any additional homes on the Boyack
property will have to wait for municipal services to be provided from Inlet phases of
Saguazo Canyon.
We recognize the need to notify al] property owners with a 300' radius ofthe new portion
ofthe legal desniption oral that the noticing will delay the City Council's Public Hearing.
We would ask that you begin noticing We propel owners as quickly as possible in order
to limit the delay caused'by the introduction of the revised legal description. Please
consider this a request to continue or table to a specific date fot all of the public hearings
related to Saguaro Canyon until they can be hcazd togethrz.
