ITD has the following review comments: 1. ITD supports the vacation of the existing Spurwing Way corridor. The vacation allows the relocation of the existing right-of--way to create a new corridor for Spurwing Way to align with the existing Long Lake Way intersection. 2. ITD supports the vacation application with the requirement that applicants close the existing intersection of US 20-26 with Spurwing Way. The application identifies that will be no access between US 20-26 and the existing Spurwing Way. The cost of the road closure is the responsibility of the applicant. 3. ITD supports the vacation application with the requirement that applicants reconstruct the existing traffic signal at Long Lake Way to accommodate the new roadway. The design and construction of the signal shall be approved with the Ada County Highway District. The cost of the signal modification is the responsibility of the applicant. 4. ITD supports the vacation application with the requirement that the applicants submit and receive an approved approach permit for the revisions to the US 20-26 intersection with Long Lake Way. If you have any questions, you may contact Matt Ward at 334-8341 or me at 334-8377.
