apply to filling a vacancy in an elective office or deliberations about
staffing needs in general

Meridian City Pre-Council Special Meeting September 25. 2012
A special pre-council meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 6:00
p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2012, by Mayor Tammy de Weerd.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Keith Bird, Charlie Rountree, Brad
Hoaglun and David Zaremba.
Item 1: Roll-call Attendance:
Roll call.

De Weerd: Okay. I will go ahead and call this meeting to order. It is a special meeting
of the City Council. Today's date is Tuesday, September 18th. It's 6:00 p.m. I will start
with roll call attendance, Madam Clerk.
Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda Adopted
De Weerd: Thank you. Item No. 2 is adoption of the agenda.
Hoaglun: Madam Mayor?
De Weerd: Mr. Hoaglun.
Hoaglun: I move adoption of the special meeting agenda as printed.
Zaremba: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second. All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion
carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Item 3: Executive Session Per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(a): To consider

DeWeerd: Mr. Hoaglun.
Bird: I move we go into Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(a).
Rountree: Second.
DeWeerd: I have a motion and a second to enter into Executive Session. Madam
Clerk, will you call roll.
Roll Call: Bird, yea; Zaremba, yea; Rountree, yea; Hoaglun, yea.
DeWeerd: All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
DeWeerd: We are adjourned into Executive Session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: (6:02 p.m. to 6:57 p.m.)
DeWeerd: Council, I would entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session.
Zaremba: So moved.
Hoaglun: Second.
DeWeerd: All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: THREE AYES. ONE ABSENT.
DeWeerd: Do I have a motion to adjourn?
Zaremba: So moved.
Hoaglun: Second.
De Weerd: All those in favor.
MOTION CARRIED: THREE AYES. ONE ABSENT.
