We respectfully request your reconsideration of the vote to deny the application of
Redfeather Estates Subdivision No. 2 for annexation and caning, planned development
and preliminary plat.
The Council had concerns with the design of the project; however, due to the lateness of
the hour, clearly identifying those problems was difficult. I was frustrated and confused
with direction the Council appeared to be taking. Late in the evening, one Ends it
difficult to appropriately address the questions and concerns of the Council.
We met with some of the neighbors after the meeting and discussed what had transpired.
We both realized that some modif~ations could be made to the project and it was in the
best interest of both parties if the Council reconsider their denial and provide an
opportunity for a revised plan, The neighbors and the applicant have been through a long
process to get to this point. Neither party warrts to returA to square one. We intend to
create a quality project, and we would appreciate being able to clarify our thoughts on
modifications to the plan to better meet the needs of the City of Meridian and the
surrounding property owners.
