A PreCouncil meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 5:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, February 28, 2012, by Mayor Tammy de Weerd.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Charlie Rountree. Brad Hoaglun, David
Zaremba and Keith Bird.
Item 1: Roll-call Attendance:
Roll call.

De Weerd: I will go ahead and start tonight's meeting. For the record it is Tuesday,
February 21St. It's 5:30. We will start with roll call attendance, Madam Clerk.
Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda
De Weerd: Okay. Item No. 2 is adoption of the agenda.
Hoaglun: Madam Mayor?
De Weerd: Mr. Hoaglun.
Hoaglun: I move approval of the agenda as printed,
Zaremba: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second to adopt the agenda as printed. All those in
favor say aye. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Item 3: Executive Session Per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (1)(c)(d)(f): (c) To Conduct
Deliberations Concerning Labor Negotiations or to Acquire an Interest in
Real Property, Which is Not Owned by a Public Agency, (d) To Consider
Records that are Exempt from Disclosure as Provided in Chapter 3, Title 9,
Idaho Code, and (f) To Consider and Advise Its Legal Representatives in
Pending Litigation.
De Weerd: Item 3.
Bird: Madam Mayor?
De Weerd: Mr. Bird.

Bird: I move we go into Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(c)(d)

Rountree: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second to adjourn into Executive Session. Madam
Clerk, will you, please, call roll.
Roll-Call: Bird, yea; Rountree, yea; Zaremba, yea; Hoaglun, yea.
De Weerd : AI I ayes.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: (5:31 p.m. to 7:11 p.m.)
De Weerd: I would entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session.
Rountree: So moved.
Bird: Second.
De Weerd: All those in favor say aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
De Weerd: Do I have a motion to adjourn our special meeting?
Rountree: So moved.
Bird: Second.
De Weerd: All those in favor? All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
