A PreCouncil meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 5:02 p.m.,
Tuesday, February 7, 2012, by Mayor Tammy de Weerd.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Charlie Rountree. Brad Hoaglun and Keith
Bird.
Members Absent: David Zaremba.
Item 1: Roll-call Attendance:
Roll call.

De Weerd: I will go ahead and start tonight's meeting. For the record it is Tuesday,
February 7th. It's a couple minutes after 5:00. We will start with roll call attendance,
Madam Clerk.
Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda
De Weerd: Okay. Item No. 2 is adoption of the agenda.
Hoaglun: Madam Mayor?
De Weerd: Mr. Hoaglun.
Hoaglun: I move approval of the agenda as printed.
Rountree: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second to adopt the agenda as printed. All those in
favor say aye. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: THREE AYES. ONE ABSENT.
Item 3: Executive Session Per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (1)(f-(d): (f)To
Consider and Advise Its Legal Representatives in Pending Litigation;
and (d) To Consider Records that are Exempt from Disclosure as
Provided in Chapter 3, Title 9, Idaho Code

Bird: I move we go into Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(b) and

De Weerd: I have a motion and a second to adjourn into Executive Session. Madam
Clerk, will you, please, call roll.
Roll-Call: Bird, yea; Rountree, yea; Zaremba, absent; Hoaglun, yea.
De Weerd: All ayes.
MOTION CARRIED: THREE AYES. ONE ABSENT.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: (5:05 p.m. to 7:05 p.m.)
DeWeerd: I would entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session.
Rountree: So moved.
Bird: Second.
De Weerd: All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion carried. Do I have a motion to
adjourn our special meeting?
Bird: So moved.
Rountree: Second.
DeWeerd: All those in favor? All ayes. Motion carried.
