Carlton Street Meridian, ID 83642 Re: Meridian Acres Subdivision Seasonal Groundwater Elevation Dear Ms. Shari Stiles: Due to the present time of year, an accurate elevation of the seasonal groundwater cannot be obtained. A letter to your office, dated January 8, 1999, regarding Seabury Village Subdivision, an adjacent development being processed through Briggs Engineering, indicated that they encountered groundwater at 6.5 feet near the east boundary of their project. That boundary lies approximately 65 feet west of the west boundary of our project, Meridian Acres Subdivision. Therefore, I feel it would be safe to assume we would encounter the same groundwater elevation. Additional monitoring will be done during the irrigation season with the results being forwarded to your office. If you have any question or comments, please contact our office at 378-7703. The engineers and architects involved with the design of this project should obtain current best management practices for stormwater disposal and design a stormwater management system that is preventing groundwater and surface water degradation. Manuals that could be used for guidance are: 1) State Of Idaho Catalog Of Stormwater Best Management Practices For Idaho Cities And Counties.
