District policy requires that driveways on collectors be located C� a minimum of 173 -feet from controlled intersections. The Pine Street/Ten Mile Road intersection is currently stop controlled. The proposed driveway location meets District policy. TJ D. The applicant should be required to construct a center turn lane on Pine Street for the Pine Street/driveway intersection. The turn lane should be constricted to provide a minimum of s 100 -feet of storage with shadow tapers for both the approach and departure directions. These turn lanes shall be constructed prior to the issuance of an impact fee certificate for the Sth-lot in the subdivision. Coordinate the design of the turn lane with District staff. E. The applicant is proposing to locate a 30 -foot wide driveway on Ten Mile Road, approximately 240 -feet north of Pine Street. The applicant should be required to construct a six-inch raised median in the center of Ten Mile Road, from a point 10 -feet north of the Pine Street intersection to a point 50 -feet north of the northern edge of driveway.
