A Pre-Council meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 5:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, July 26, 2011, by Mayor Tammy de Weerd.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Charlie Rountree, Keith Bird, Brad
Hoaglun, and David Zaremba.
Item 1: Roll-call Attendance:

Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda
Rountree: Motion to adopt the agenda as amended.
Zaremba: Second.
De Weerd: Motion and a second to adopt the agenda as amended. All those in favor
say aye. All ayes. Motion carries.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Item 3: Executive Session Per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (1)(f) - To Consider
and Advise its Legal Representatives in Pending Litigation Amended onto
agenda at start of meeting (a) - To consider hiring a public officer, employee,
staff member or individual agent, wherein the respective qualities of individuals
are to be evaluated in order to fill a particular vacancy or need. This paragraph
does not apply to filling a vacancy in an elective office or deliberations about
staffing needs in general
Rountree: Move to go into executive session per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (1)(a) and
(1)(fl•
Zaremba: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and second to adjourn into Executive Session. Madam
Clerk, will you, please, call roll.
Roll-Call: Bird, yea; Rountree, yea; Zaremba, yea;
De Weerd: All ayes. Motion carried.

De Weerd: Council, I would entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session.
Rountree: So moved.
Zaremba: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second come out of Executive Session. All those in
favor say aye. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
De Weerd: Do I have a motion to adjourn our special meeting?
Bird: Madam Mayor, I move we adjourn from our special meeting.
Rountree: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second to adjourn. All those in favor say aye. All
ayes. Motion carries.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
