I am requesting an extension on the annexation and rezoning hearing for the Kissler Group.
There is a "sliver" of land on thell~st side of my property that has come into question. I had
thought that this issue had been resolved when my property was surveyed last fall. However,
this was not the case. Since this came to my attention last week, we have been working with the
Ada County Assessors office to correct things. An error was made several generations back
when an old fence was used for the boundary instead of the deeded property line.
We are now in the process of straightening out the property lines and have located the elderly
widow who, with her deceased husband, were co-owners of this land when the error occurred.
This matter is being resolved, but as you know, these matters do take some time because of the
different agencies and parties involved. It would be very much appreciated if you would grant
us a much needed extension and put our application on a temporary hold until this matter is
recorded and deeded correctly.
