Subject: City Council Agenda 10/28-03 - item #9
Please provide a copy of this email to members of the city council. Thank-you
Members of the City Council...
During the council meeting on the above date, item #9 [request for annexation and
zoning for Kissler/Cobbs/Eagy/Ruwe] was continued until the next council meeting on
November 5th.
This was the 2nd continuation granted. You probably noticed the applicants did not appear
that evening because they requested the extension in advance. However, myself and 6
neighbors did not have that advantage and took time from our busy schedules to appear.
If the applicants fail to appear on November 5th, and ask for another continuance I
would respectfully request that you require them to provide a firm date as to when they
will be ready to present their case and set the agenda accordingly. That will ensure
everyone's time is not wasted.
If they then fail to meet their own prescribed deadline, I recommend that the
council deny their application.
When they are ready to present the development plan that was recommended by P&Z and
requested by the city council, they could begin the process again.
Respectfully yours,
Steve Grant
