According to a report completed by Fire & Emergency Services Consulting Group in Febmary of 2000 our requests for service are projected to reach 2800 in the year 2005 and 3800 by the year 2010, this is up from 2069 responses in the year 2000. 8. The Meridian Fire Department would support the strict application of the International Building Code for side yard setbacks with no variances. This would limit the potential fire spread from building to building in those blocks.
